Reigning Champion KINGS Racing Confirms Five Entries for China GT Assault


2017 and 2018 double GT3 champion KINGS Racing has expanded its 2019 presence by fielding  three GT3 entries - adding a new Mercedes AMG GT3 to its original twin Audi R8 LMS lineup. The Shanghai-based squad will also return to GT4 fray in 2019 with double Aston Martin Vantage GT4 entires.

KINGS has been the most successful GT3 team to date since China GT’s inception in 2016, claiming a clean sweep of GT3 drivers’ and teams’ championships in 2017 and 2018.

Double drivers’ champion and team leader Xu Jia has bold ambitions for the upcoming season. ‘We have achieved back-to-back GT3 success for the past two seasons, and are looking to defend our titles and make it a hat trick of championships in 2019. The team will also step up our effort in GT4 with two Aston Martin Vantage. I will personally be driving one of them and hope to replicate our success in the GT4 field.’

Full drivers’ lineup will be confirmed at a later date before the opening rounds at Sepang on 15-17 March.
