Release date / 2018-04-22

After a day of heavy downpour on Saturday, the track has finally dried up for Sunday practice.

Xu Jia clocked the fastest lap with a time of 1:05.497 in GT3 Practice, but his time improved by eight tenth of a second during the unofficial afternoon session. The #911 Porsche 911 GT3Rs managed to fix an engine problem that has troubled the Beijing based JRM team all weekend, and the pair of Li Chao and Chris van der Drift set the overall GT3 fastest lap with a time of 1:03.361 in the afternoon. KINGS Racing’s Wang Liang and Martin Rump are a close second, only 0.017s adrift.

Xtreme Motorsports’ Song Bo was the only GTC entry to test the car on the cold track, and achieved a time of 1:08.681.

Wang Tao ventured out for a mere 6 laps for R+ Racing in the Porsche GT3 Cup Trophy China Class.

In GT4, China Equity AMR’s Stanley Yang’s fastest time of 1:09.617 is closely matched by Xtreme Motorsports’ Zhang Dadian, who is only one tenth of a second behind. 2017 Championship winning entry, Winning Team’s McLaren 570S GT4 is 0.843s adrift of leader. The other two Aston Martin Vantage GT4s of China Equity AMR did not manage to set a representative time in today’s session.
