Day 2 of the 2018 China GT Official Test set off amidst patchy drizzle and strong wind, and saw frequent spins and off-track excursions.
Both Audis of KINGS Racing decided to venture out on wets and Wang Liang’s #8 set an overall best time of 1:24.703 for GT3 in the third session of the weekend.
Two Radicals and one Lamborghini made it out of the pit amd the occasional downpour, and it was the Xtreme Motorsports’ Thomas Ashton and Lo Sze Ho who set the quickest time of 1:32.866 for GTC Class.
Both Wang Tao and Zheng Hui of R+ Racing had trouble negotiating the slippery Goldenport track. Wang Tao set the fastest time of 1:33.332 in the earlier session for Porsche GT3 Cup Trophy China.
Stanley Yang and Yu Zhao had the longest running among the GT4 filed, and had a best time of 1:26.010. Winning Team, Xtreme Motorsports, China Equity AMR also did laps under slippery conditions.
