The British brand Aston Martin has always made an impression on the tracks. Aside from having a long history of producing luxury race cars, Aston Martin is also a brand which is actively involved in race events all year round. In 2017, the #97 V8 Vantage GTE became the 85th Le Mans champion in the GTE class for Aston Martin Racing. This most challenging of race tracks brought out the true spirit of the Aston Martin. The 2017 China GT Championship has seen the first official introduction of Aston Martin Vantage GT4 to the domestic race scene by China Equity AMR.

The Aston Martin Vantage GT4 is currently the most popular GT4 car in the world. More than100 cars have been made and are competing in race series across the globe.

The Aston Martin Vantage GT4 was carefully crafted on the basis of the V8 Vantage by Prodrive, and is powered by the same 4.7 L V8 engine. With an output of 470 PS available, the Vantage GT4  is a true powerhouse in the China GT GT4 Class.

At present, it is China Equity AMR and ZIA FEA Racing that have put the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 to work in the GT4 race at the Beijing race weekend of this season’s China GT.

There were more Vantage GT4s involved in the China GT Beijing race weekend than any other marques in the GT4 Class. The drivers for China Equity AMR achieved podium finish in both rounds of the GT4 races behind the wheel of the Vantage GT4, proving that gentlemen drivers can put in a powerful performance in the right car.
